Payment Analyst – Job description
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Payment Analyst should fully understand the accounts, contracting and payment strategy assigned to them.
- Read, interpret, and implement payment processes according to written contracts.
- Develop, create and run reports from varying systems in support of payments made.
- Make all payments in accordance with SOX and compliance guidelines.
- Perform trend analysis; analyze and interpret data and reports.
- Research problems of broad scope (sales, payments, customer structure, product structure, data history).
- Analyze, Identify and assist in implementation of process improvements impacting the department Develop ad hoc reports as per customer needs.
- Be able to adopt very quickly to department needs.
- Identify and handle conflict management, relationship building and presentations
- Ability to operate in a deadline driven environment with direct customer interaction
- Provides functional guidance and keeps internal and external teams aware of all payments statuses or pending issues.
- Solve problems at the country and project level.
- Builds and maintains excellent relationships with colleagues and clients.
Requires a minimum of one year handling payments for contractual obligations for assigned accounts / territories. Must have strong analytical and communication skills for communication and interaction with internal / external customers. Must have good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Proven ability to communicate accurately and effectively
- Must be comfortable with computers and have knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience negotiating contracts and budgets
- Strong excel skills
- Very good English and Russian skills. Any other language is considered a big advantage.
